Discover how little luxuries, intentional rituals and beautiful everyday details can make your life feel more elevated, peaceful and enjoyable—without waiting for your dream life.
What if luxury wasn’t about having more, but about making the little things you already do feel a little more beautiful?
I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, especially during my birthday week. I’ve had so many fun things planned, and instead of waiting for one big celebration, I’ve been enjoying each little moment along the way.
I started my birthday by going to Paris Baguette and getting myself some desserts, simply because I wanted them. Then I went out for a joint birthday dinner with my mom at Brew + Bloom, this beautiful pink, girlie restaurant covered in flowers. And now I’m getting ready to head to Whistler for the weekend to stay in a penthouse chalet in the mountains. Honestly, I’m so excited.
It has been such a fun birthday, and I’m feeling incredibly grateful for every moment of it. But more than anything, it has reminded me of something I already believe deeply: life is meant to be enjoyed.
I don’t think you need a mansion, a designer wardrobe, or a bank account with seven figures to create a life that feels luxurious. Sometimes luxury is getting yourself the dessert. It’s going somewhere beautiful for dinner. It’s planning a weekend away simply because you want to experience something special.
For me, luxury is often much simpler.
It’s drinking my morning coffee from a beautiful mug, putting fresh flowers on the counter, getting into clean and soft bedding at the end of the day, or taking my time with skincare. It’s putting on a workout set that makes me feel confident before I even start exercising, lighting a candle while I journal, or wearing jewellery just because I feel like it.
It’s making an ordinary Tuesday feel a little more special simply because I’m here living it.
That, to me, is the Spiritual Baddie approach to luxury.
I don’t want to wait until I have the perfect house, the perfect relationship, the perfect career, or the perfect life to enjoy beautiful things. I want to romanticize the life I’m living right now.
And sometimes, the smallest upgrades can make the biggest difference in how an ordinary day feels.

What’s in This Guide
Today I’m sharing some of my favourite little luxuries that make my everyday life feel better:
- Beautiful coffee mugs
- Candles
- Bedding
- Skincare
- Jewellery
- Journals
- Home décor
- Workout clothes
- Wellness products
- Flowers
- Coffee and tea accessories
These aren’t things you need. They’re things I enjoy.
And there’s an important difference.
My Philosophy: Luxury Is a Feeling
I think we’ve been taught to associate luxury with expensive things: designer handbags, luxury cars, huge houses, five-star hotels and private jets.
And yes, those things can certainly be luxurious. But luxury can also be having time, having peace, creating beautiful surroundings, having choices, taking care of yourself and actually enjoying the life you’re living.
That’s the kind of luxury I’m interested in creating.
Because what’s the point of owning expensive things if you’re too stressed to enjoy them?
I would rather create a life where ordinary moments feel good. A slow morning. A nourishing breakfast. A beautiful home. A workout I enjoy. A peaceful evening. A candle burning while I journal.
That’s wealth of experience.
And my birthday week has been a perfect reminder of this. I didn’t need to wait for one extravagant celebration to feel like I was celebrating. I could enjoy the dessert, the dinner, the quality time with my mom and the excitement of a weekend in the mountains.
The beauty is in being present enough to actually experience those moments.

1. Beautiful Coffee Mugs
Let’s start with one of my favourite everyday luxuries: the humble coffee mug.
I know it’s just a mug. But hear me out.
I drink coffee regularly, so why wouldn’t I want to drink it from something beautiful? Choosing a mug I genuinely love makes a simple morning ritual feel more intentional, and I like having different mugs for different moods and seasons.
Something cozy for autumn. Something feminine and pretty. Something simple and elegant. And something that just makes me smile.
The coffee isn’t necessarily different.
The experience is.
And sometimes that’s all luxury needs to be.

2. Candles
Candles are one of my easiest ways to make a space feel instantly more luxurious. I can light one while I’m having dinner, journaling, taking a bath or even cleaning. There doesn’t have to be a special occasion.
You are the occasion.
I especially love how a candle can make a room feel warmer and more intentional in the evening. It creates a little transition between day mode and relaxation mode, and sometimes I simply love walking into a room and seeing that little glow.
It’s a tiny thing, but it changes the energy.

3. Beautiful Bedding
There is something incredibly luxurious about getting into a bed with fresh, comfortable bedding.
You don’t need an expensive bedroom to create that feeling. Comfortable sheets, a beautiful duvet cover, fluffy pillows, a cozy throw and a soft blanket can completely change the experience.
I love making my bedroom a place I actually look forward to returning to. Your bedroom doesn’t need to look like a luxury hotel. It just needs to feel peaceful to you.
And honestly, clean sheets might be one of life’s most underrated luxuries.

4. Skincare
Skincare is another everyday ritual that makes me feel like I’m taking care of myself.
I’m not interested in buying every product that becomes trendy. I want products that make sense for my routine and that I genuinely enjoy using. A good cleanser, moisturizer, serum, body care, a beautiful body oil or a face mask when I want a little extra self-care can be enough.
What makes it luxurious is the intention behind it.
Instead of rushing through skincare because it’s another thing on my to-do list, I can slow down. Massage in the moisturiser. Take a moment. Notice how my skin feels. Enjoy the process.
Self-care becomes luxurious when you stop treating it like a chore.

5. Jewellery
I love jewellery because it can completely change how I feel in an outfit. And I don’t think you need to save your favourite pieces for special occasions.
Wear the earrings. Put on the necklace. Stack the rings. Wear the bracelet — even if you’re staying home or simply running errands.
There’s something about putting on jewellery that can make me feel more polished and feminine. Sometimes, that’s exactly the energy I want to embody.
You don’t need somewhere special to dress like the woman you are becoming.

6. Journals
A beautiful journal is one of those things that combines aesthetics with something genuinely useful.
I love having somewhere to write down my thoughts, goals, intentions, ideas, gratitude and reflections. And yes, I want the journal to look beautiful. If something is going to sit on my desk every day, I want to enjoy looking at it.
But the real luxury is what happens inside it.
Having a quiet place to hear myself think is priceless.

7. Home Décor
Your environment has a huge impact on how your everyday life feels. I’m drawn to décor that makes my home feel warm, peaceful, feminine and connected to nature.
Flowers, candles, soft textures, beautiful artwork, decorative trays, plants, mirrors, vases, cozy throws, pretty storage and natural elements can all add something special without requiring a complete redesign.
Sometimes one small change can shift the entire feeling of a room. Move a lamp. Add flowers. Clear a surface. Put out a beautiful candle. Add a cozy blanket.
Luxury can be created one little detail at a time.

8. Workout Clothes
I’m a big believer that fitness should feel good. And while workout clothes don’t make the workout itself more effective, I absolutely enjoy wearing pieces that make me feel confident.
A cute matching set, flattering leggings, a comfortable sports bra, a cozy hoodie or cute socks can give me that little boost of confidence before I even start moving.
Suddenly, I’m feeling like that girl before I’ve even picked up the dumbbells.
And I love that.
The goal isn’t to dress for other people. It’s to feel good in your own body.

9. Wellness Products
Wellness products are another area where I like being intentional.
For me, this can include yoga mats, meditation cushions, water bottles, essential oil diffusers, Pilates equipment, wellness journals, herbal teas, bath products and massage tools.
I don’t want a house full of things I never use. I want products that support the routines I already enjoy.
If something helps me meditate more comfortably, move my body, stay hydrated, relax or take better care of myself, I’m interested.
If it’s just going to sit in a drawer? Probably not.

10. Flowers
Fresh flowers might be one of my favourite little luxuries.
They don’t have to be extravagant. A simple bouquet from the grocery store can completely change the feeling of a room.
And I love that flowers remind me to appreciate beauty while it’s here. They don’t need to be permanent to be meaningful.
They bloom, they brighten the room, and eventually they fade.
There’s something beautiful about that reminder to enjoy the moment instead of always waiting for the next one.
Beauty doesn’t have to last forever to be worth experiencing.

11. Coffee & Tea Accessories
Since coffee is part of my morning ritual, I love having little accessories that make the experience feel special. A beautiful mug, pretty spoon, good kettle, cute tray, glass or tumbler can turn something I already do into a little ritual.
Instead of grabbing whatever is closest, I can make the drink, sit down, take a breath and actually enjoy it.
It’s the details that make ordinary life feel intentional.

Why I Love Little Luxuries
I think one of the biggest reasons I love these little luxuries is because they remind me to be present in my own life.
It’s easy to get caught up in the future.
When I have more money.
When I move into my dream home.
When I reach my next goal.
When I finally have everything figured out.
But what happens to today?
What happens to this morning, this coffee, this bedroom, this workout or this ordinary Tuesday?
My birthday week has made this feel especially real for me. I could have focused entirely on the bigger celebration at the end of the week, but instead I’ve been enjoying each experience as it comes. Getting myself a dessert. Going out for a beautiful dinner with my mom. Looking forward to a weekend in Whistler.
These moments don’t have to be life-changing to be meaningful.
They just have to be lived.
I don’t want to spend my entire life waiting for the next chapter to finally enjoy it.
I want to enjoy the chapter I’m currently in.
That’s why I’m learning to romanticize the everyday.
You Don’t Need a Mansion to Feel Luxurious
This is probably the biggest lesson behind my approach to luxury.
You don’t need a mansion to make your life feel luxurious.
You don’t need a designer kitchen, a huge walk-in closet or an expensive car. You don’t even need to spend thousands of dollars on wellness products.
Start with what you already have.
Clean your space. Make your bed. Put flowers on the table. Light a candle. Make your favourite coffee. Wear your favourite jewellery. Put on the cute workout set. Take a long shower. Do your skincare. Journal. Go for a walk. Cook something nourishing. Put on music. Open the curtains and let the sunlight in.
Make your actual life feel good.

The Spiritual Baddie Approach to Spending
Romanticizing your life doesn’t mean constantly buying things. In fact, I think intentional spending is part of the lifestyle.
Before buying another “luxury” item, I ask myself whether I actually love it, whether I’ll use it, whether it adds value to my life and whether it fits the woman I’m becoming.
I also ask myself something even more important:
Am I buying this because I genuinely want it, or because I’m trying to feel like I have a certain lifestyle?
Sometimes we don’t actually want the thing. We want the feeling we think the thing will give us.
And sometimes we can create that feeling without buying anything.
You might want a luxurious morning, but you don’t necessarily need a $500 coffee machine. You might want a beautiful home, but you don’t necessarily need a complete renovation. You might want to feel feminine, but you don’t necessarily need a new wardrobe.
Sometimes the luxury you’re looking for is already available to you.

Your Little Luxury Check-In
Take a moment to reflect:
- What is one simple thing you already own that makes your everyday life feel more luxurious?
- Where in your daily routine could you slow down and turn an ordinary moment into a ritual?
- What would your ideal everyday life feel like if you stopped waiting for the “perfect” circumstances to enjoy it?
Choose Your Luxury Mindset: A or B
A: I’ll enjoy beautiful things when I have more money, more time and a better life.
B: I can create beauty, comfort and luxury with what I already have while continuing to build the life I desire.
I’m choosing B.
Because the woman I’m becoming isn’t waiting for permission to enjoy her life.
She buys the flowers. She lights the candle. She wears the jewellery. She makes the coffee. She puts on the cute workout set. She makes her home beautiful. She takes care of herself.
And she remembers that luxury isn’t always something you buy — sometimes it’s something you create.

Final Thoughts
The older I get, the more I realize that the life I want doesn’t have to be extravagant.
I want it to feel beautiful.
I want peaceful mornings, a warm home, movement that makes me feel strong, nourishing food, flowers around me, skincare rituals, jewellery just because I feel like it, coffee I can actually enjoy slowly and candles glowing in the evening.
I want to journal. I want to spend time in nature. I want to laugh, learn, grow and create. I want beautiful experiences, whether that’s treating myself to a dessert on my birthday, having a special dinner with my mom or escaping to the mountains for a weekend.
And I want to appreciate the little things while I’m working toward the bigger things.
Because I’m not waiting until I have my dream life to start living beautifully.
I’m creating the feeling of my dream life now.
That’s my definition of luxury.
Not excess. Not perfection. Not proving anything to anyone.
Just creating a life that feels good from the inside out.
Soft life. Beautiful details. Intentional choices. Peaceful energy.
And, of course, a little bougie sparkle never hurt anybody.
Until next time… keep becoming the grounded, glowing you. ✨
