Learn how to embrace feminine energy, trust your intuition, slow down, raise your standards, and create a life that feels more aligned, intentional, and beautiful.
What if stepping into your feminine energy isn’t about becoming a different woman, but about finally giving yourself permission to become more of who you already are?
Since living on the farm, I’ve really slowed down the way I live. Not because I’ve stopped being ambitious or because I no longer have things I want to accomplish, but because I’m no longer interested in living in constant grind mode.
I used to feel like I always needed to push through, get more done, and accomplish as much as possible. Now, I’m much more focused on being the best version of myself in each moment and giving myself enough time to move toward my goals calmly.
That shift has brought me much closer to my feminine energy and my intuition.
I listen to myself more. I notice what I need. I take care of the things that need to get done without feeling like I have to rush through my entire life.
And perhaps most importantly, I feel safe enough to be creative again.
I’m no longer living as though I’m constantly trying to survive. I’m starting to feel like a creator — someone who gets to express herself, build her environment, enjoy her life, and intentionally decide what she wants her future to look like.
That is the energy I want to explore more deeply.

What’s in This Guide
In this guide, we’re exploring how to step into your feminine energy through:
- Slowing down without losing your ambition
- Trusting your intuition
- Learning to receive instead of constantly chase
- Taking care of yourself as part of your lifestyle
- Raising your standards without becoming hardened
- Creating more beauty and pleasure in your everyday life
- Building simple rituals that help you reconnect with yourself
Think of it as a reminder that you can still want more while learning to move through life with more peace.
What Does Feminine Energy Mean to You?
Feminine energy can mean something different to every woman. For me, it isn’t about following a specific aesthetic or becoming passive and waiting for life to happen.
It’s about how I feel when I’m connected to myself.
I think of it as:
Softness without weakness.
Confidence without hardness.
Ambition without constant hustle.
Intuition without losing my grounding.
It’s being able to recognize when I need to take action and when I need to step back. It’s trusting myself enough to make decisions without constantly needing outside validation.
And it’s understanding that I don’t have to choose between being successful and being soft.
I can have high standards and still have a kind heart.
I can be independent and still receive.
I can want a beautiful life and still value simplicity.
I don’t have to choose.

1. Slow Down Without Becoming Passive
Slowing down doesn’t mean giving up on your goals.
You can still build your business, work toward your career, create content, move your body, make money, and chase your dreams while giving yourself permission to breathe.
The difference is that you stop treating everything like an emergency.
For me, slowing down has meant becoming more intentional about where my energy goes. Instead of automatically saying yes, I can pause. Instead of filling every quiet moment with productivity, I can actually enjoy the quiet.
Even something as simple as:
- Drinking your coffee without immediately checking your phone
- Taking a slower morning
- Going for a walk without turning it into a productivity task
- Journaling before starting work
- Spending an evening at home without feeling guilty
- Giving yourself more time to complete your goals
These small changes can completely change the way you experience your day.
And sometimes, when you stop rushing, the next step becomes much clearer.

2. Receive Instead of Constantly Chasing
One of the biggest shifts I associate with feminine energy is learning how to receive.
So many women are incredibly comfortable with doing. We plan, organize, fix, achieve, give, anticipate, and make things happen.
But receiving can feel much less familiar.
Ask yourself:
Where am I chasing when I could be allowing?
Receiving could look like accepting a compliment without brushing it off. It could mean allowing someone to help you, saying yes to an opportunity that feels aligned, or letting yourself enjoy something without feeling like you need to earn it first.
It doesn’t mean you stop taking action.
It means you stop believing that everything has to be forced.
Sometimes you can do your part and then create space for life to meet you halfway.

3. Trust Your Intuition
The more I slow down, the more I notice my intuition.
It doesn’t always show up as some huge spiritual sign. Sometimes it’s simply a feeling that something isn’t right. Other times, it’s a sense of peace around a decision or a quiet knowing that you’ve been ignoring.
Your intuition might sound like:
“This doesn’t feel right anymore.”
“I actually want to do this.”
“I need more time.”
“I think I already know the answer.”
The more you listen, the easier it becomes to recognize your own inner voice.
This October, practice pausing before immediately asking everyone else what they think.
Ask yourself:
What do I actually want?
What feels aligned?
What feels forced?
What is my body telling me?
You don’t have to explain every decision to everyone around you. Sometimes self-trust simply means allowing yourself to know what you know.
Journaling has become one of my favourite ways to slow down enough to actually hear myself, and having a beautiful journal nearby makes it easier to turn those quiet thoughts into something I can come back to.

4. Take Care of Yourself Like You Matter
Stepping into feminine energy also means taking care of yourself because you genuinely value yourself — not because you’ve finally completed everything on your to-do list.
Self-care can be simple.
It might be:
- Weight training, Pilates, walking, yoga, or stretching
- Preparing a nourishing meal
- Getting enough sleep
- Taking a long shower
- Doing your skincare
- Journaling or meditating
- Spending a quiet evening at home
- Cleaning and organizing your space
- Taking yourself out for coffee
None of these things need to be extravagant.
I’ve been learning that I don’t want to wait until I’m completely exhausted before I allow myself to rest. If I want a life that feels good, taking care of myself needs to be part of the lifestyle.
Rest isn’t a reward for burning yourself out.

5. Raise Your Standards Without Losing Your Softness
Feminine energy doesn’t mean being endlessly accommodating.
You are allowed to have standards for your relationships, your time, your environment, and the way people treat you.
But raising your standards doesn’t mean becoming cold.
You can have boundaries and still be loving.
You can walk away and still wish someone well.
You can say no without becoming bitter.
For me, raising my standards means becoming more selective about what gets access to my energy. Sometimes that means fewer commitments. Sometimes it means protecting my mornings. Sometimes it simply means recognizing that something no longer fits the woman I’m becoming.
Remember:
Soft doesn’t mean available to everything.
Your softness is something you can protect rather than something you need to give away to everyone.

6. Create Space for Beauty and Pleasure
I think one of the most beautiful parts of feminine energy is remembering that life isn’t supposed to be one giant self-improvement project.
There should be pleasure, too.
A beautiful coffee cup. Fresh flowers. Your favourite perfume. A cozy sweater. A candle burning while you journal. Cooking something slowly. Taking yourself for coffee. Putting on an outfit you love even when you have nowhere special to go.
These little moments matter because they remind you that you don’t have to wait for some huge milestone before you’re allowed to enjoy your life.
And this is something I’ve really been experiencing since living on the farm.
Because I’m no longer constantly moving from place to place, I have the opportunity to actually create my environment. I can make my home more beautiful. I can rearrange things. I can create spaces that feel like me.
The longer I stay, the more aligned my environment becomes with who I am.
There is something incredibly grounding about that.
You are allowed to make your everyday life beautiful.
Something as simple as lighting a candle while I journal or wind down in the evening can completely change the atmosphere of my space and make an ordinary night feel a little more intentional.

7. Become a Creator Instead of Living in Survival Mode
This is probably one of the biggest personal shifts I’ve experienced.
For a long time, I think I was constantly focused on what came next. Where would I live? What would I do? What needed to change? Where should I go from here?
Now, I’m starting to understand the power of staying.
This is the longest I’ve lived in one place in a really long time, and I’m finally seeing the benefits of having a base.
I’m not constantly starting over anymore.
I spent a year building my foundation, and now I get to grow it.
I can grow:
- My content
- My relationships
- My creativity
- My home
- My confidence
- My sense of self
- My belief in what is possible for me
That feels completely different from constantly trying to reinvent my life.
And there’s something incredibly feminine about allowing yourself to cultivate rather than constantly chase.

My Feminine Energy Practice
I’m keeping my practice simple right now because I don’t want another complicated routine that feels like something I have to perform perfectly.
In the morning:
I give myself time to journal, reflect, and set an intention for how I want to feel throughout the day.
During the day:
I practice pausing before automatically saying yes, especially when something doesn’t feel aligned.
When my intuition speaks:
I listen before immediately talking myself out of what I’m feeling.
When something good arrives:
I practice receiving it instead of questioning whether I deserve it.
In the evening:
I create space to slow down through things like skincare, stretching, meditation, journaling, candles, reading, or simply enjoying a quiet night at home.
When I’m slowing down in the evening, I love creating a calming atmosphere with a diffuser and a soft, grounding scent while I journal, stretch, or meditate.
None of this is complicated.
It’s simply a way of reminding myself that I don’t have to live in survival mode anymore.

Your Feminine Energy Check-In
Take a few minutes to reflect honestly:
- Where am I forcing, overgiving, or pushing myself when I could slow down and allow more?
- What is my intuition trying to tell me that I may have been ignoring?
- What would change if I treated my peace, energy, and everyday life as something truly valuable?
You don’t need to figure everything out immediately. Sometimes the most important answers reveal themselves when you finally give yourself enough quiet to hear them.
Choose Your Energy: A or B
A: I need to constantly chase, control, and push myself to create the life I want.
B: I can take intentional action while trusting myself, receiving what comes my way, and allowing life to unfold without forcing every outcome.
I’m choosing B.
I still have big goals. I still want to create, grow, build, travel, experience beautiful things, and become everything I know I’m capable of becoming. But I don’t want to sacrifice my peace to prove that I’m serious about my dreams.
I want to be ambitious without living in constant hustle mode.
I want to be intuitive without disconnecting from reality.
I want to be feminine without shrinking myself.
I want to be soft without becoming passive.
And I want to trust that I can create the life I desire without constantly chasing it.

Final Thoughts
The more I slow down, the more I realize that feminine energy isn’t really about becoming someone new. It’s about coming home to myself.
Living on the farm has given me the space to experience that in a way I don’t think I could have understood before. This is the longest I’ve lived in one place in a very long time, and I’m finally starting to see what I may have been missing all those years of moving from place to place.
None of those locations ever quite made me feel at home.
Now I’m surrounded by family members who love me and genuinely want to see me do well, and I’ve started wondering whether that was part of what I had been running from all this time when I should have been learning how to embrace it.
Maybe I didn’t need another place.
Maybe I needed to learn how to stay.
And now that I’m here, I can create. I can make my home beautiful. I can grow my content, nurture my relationships, express myself, and continue building the undeniable belief that I can have anything and everything I desire in this lifetime.
I’m no longer interested in constantly starting over.
I’ve built my base.
Now I get to grow.
That is the energy I want to carry forward: grounded, intuitive, intentional, soft, strong, creative, and completely connected to myself.
Because feminine energy, to me, isn’t about giving up my ambition.
It’s about finally understanding that I can pursue everything I desire while still giving myself permission to enjoy the life I’m already living.
If you’re stepping into a softer, more intentional season of your life, tell me in the comments: what does feminine energy mean to you right now?
Until next time… keep becoming the grounded, glowing you. ✨
