In this post, I’m sharing how this season of growth — from blogging to preparing for my WWOOF experience — has shaped my intentional morning rituals for abundance and alignment
For the first time in a long time, I feel like my life is finally beginning in the way I always hoped it would. Not because everything is perfect. Not because I have all the answers. But because I’m choosing it — consciously, intentionally, and without waiting for permission.
There’s a quiet confidence building in me. A steadiness. A sense that I’m no longer drifting — I’m directing.
One of the biggest shifts I’ve made recently is starting my second blog, Soft Life Finance.
I created it as a space where I can teach myself in public and grow out loud. It’s where I’m learning about money mindset, investing, and financial independence — because I finally admitted I knew nothing about money and decided that ends now. Instead of avoiding it, I chose to understand it. Instead of feeling intimidated, I chose to become informed.
Soft Life Finance has become more than just a blog. It’s a reflection of who I’m becoming — a woman who values growth, financial literacy, and long-term freedom. It’s where I unpack limiting beliefs, document what I’m learning, and step into confidence in real time.
Having this outlet fulfills me in a way I didn’t expect. It’s become a creative sanctuary — a place where I refine my thoughts, track my evolution, and hopefully inspire someone else to take a leap in their own life.
This Season of Growth
Right now, I’m staying at my parents’ farm. And honestly? It has been the reset my soul needed. It’s quiet. It’s grounding. It’s focused.
I’m brushing up on my French because I plan to farm in Montreal this summer through WWOOF. Beyond growing vegetables, there may even be an opportunity to sell vegetables at a local farmers’ market — and if I know anything about Quebec, it’s that speaking French matters.
I don’t have time to master the language, but I’m committed to having real, everyday conversations. Helpful tools like french flashcards and a French-English dictionary are essential for practice.
I’m also teaching myself anatomy because I have a deep desire to understand how to support and heal the body. Trail Guide to the Body and its corresponding flashcards are excellent resources, and they’ve completely changed the way I view movement and wellness.
This stage of my life feels like growth in its purest form.
And one of the biggest anchors keeping me grounded and expanding at the same time?
My morning rituals.
Why Morning Rituals Matter for Abundance
Mornings are sacred. They’re quiet. Untouched. A fresh canvas waiting to be shaped with intention.
How you begin your day sets the energetic tone for everything that follows — your thoughts, your decisions, your focus, and the opportunities you notice.
Abundance isn’t just about money. It’s joy. Clarity. Health. Confidence. Creativity. Alignment. It’s the feeling of being grounded in who you are while moving steadily toward who you’re becoming.
I’ve realized that when I protect my mornings and approach them with intention, everything flows more smoothly. My mindset is stronger. My energy is steadier. My goals feel more achievable.
Here’s what my abundance-focused mornings look like.

1. Rising with Gratitude
Before I check my phone. Before emails. Before the noise of the world begins to shape my thoughts.
I pause.
That moment of stillness feels simple, but it’s powerful. It’s where I reconnect with myself before anything external has influence over my energy.
Sometimes I open my journal and take a few minutes to write intentionally. Other times, I keep it even simpler and quietly name three things I’m grateful for.
- The warmth of my bed.
- The peaceful rhythm of the morning.
- The chance to grow, learn, and build the life I envision.
Gratitude has completely shifted the way I experience my days. It grounds me. It softens anxiety. It reminds me that there is already so much good in my life. When you intentionally focus on what’s working, what’s beautiful, and what’s unfolding, your mindset expands — and that expansion naturally invites more positivity into your world.
2. Hydrate & Nourish Intentionally
I begin my day with warm lemon water — a simple yet meaningful ritual. It gently hydrates, supports digestion, and eases my body into the morning without any rush. Savouring those first slow sips helps me start the day with intention instead of urgency.
After that, I prepare something nourishing — eggs and fruit, a simple smoothie, or whatever feels aligned that morning. Lately, I’ve been adding greens to keep things easy while still supporting my energy and focus. Having a blender makes preparing smoothies, soups, and sauces quick and convenient.
Caring for your body is an abundance practice. It reinforces self-worth and reminds you that you deserve consistency, nourishment, and care.
“I am someone who takes care of myself.”
That message matters — because the way you show up for your body shapes the way you show up for your life.
3. Setting Intentions (Not Just Goals)
Goals can sometimes feel external — something to check off, achieve, or prove. Intentions feel different. They’re internal. Grounded. Embodied. They shape how you move, think, and respond throughout the day.
Instead of asking, “What do I need to accomplish today?” I pause and ask myself deeper questions:
- What energy do I want to carry?
- How do I want to feel while building my dreams?
- What kind of woman am I becoming through my daily choices?
I write these reflections in a journal and take a few quiet moments to visualize my day unfolding with ease — conversations flowing smoothly, tasks completed with focus, and challenges handled calmly.
This is manifestation at its core — alignment before action. When your mindset leads, your actions follow naturally.
4. Movement & Mindfulness
Being on the farm naturally slows life down, but I still make space for intentional movement — especially in the winter when it’s snowing and I’m staying indoors.
Sometimes it’s stretching with a thick yoga mat in the living room.
Sometimes it’s gentle mobility exercises or a short at-home workout.
Sometimes it’s simply sitting in stillness with a guided meditation on YouTube.
I pair movement with affirmations:
- I am open to receive.
- Abundance flows to me effortlessly.
- I am worthy of prosperity and peace.
Even five intentional minutes can shift your nervous system. It moves you out of stress and back into calm.
As someone who still experiences the occasional wave of panic, this practice has changed everything. Meditation and affirmations help me return to centre more quickly and remind me that I am safe, grounded, and in control of my energy.
5. Essential Oils for Energy
Scent is one of the quickest ways to shift your energy. It moves beyond logic and works directly with your emotions, which is why I love adding essential oils to my morning routine. Using a diffuser helps create a calm, intentional atmosphere as I start the day.
Here are the oils I reach for most often:
- Lemon or orange for optimism and clarity
- Lavender for calm and balance
- Frankincense for grounding and focus
It may seem like a small detail, but sensory rituals are powerful. When you consistently connect certain scents with your morning routine, your brain begins to associate them with peace, presence, and expansion. Over time, it becomes a simple signal that it’s time to step into an intentional, aligned state.
6. Creating a Sacred Space
Even on the farm, I’ve created a small ritual corner that feels calm and intentional. It doesn’t need to be large or elaborate — just a space that feels separate from the rest of the day.
Lighting a candle helps me shift into a different mindset. The soft glow creates a sense of stillness and tells my brain that this is focused time — time to reflect, set intentions, and reconnect with my goals.
Your sacred space doesn’t need to be Pinterest-perfect or styled a certain way. It just needs to feel like yours — a place that supports clarity, presence, and growth.
Final Thoughts
Here’s what I’ve learned after years of mindset work:
Manifestation isn’t about pretending everything is perfect. It’s about believing — deeply and consistently — that you are capable of creating the life you desire.
I’ve spent years strengthening my mindset, and I know how to return to alignment when doubt appears. Journalling, breathwork, affirmations, and simple perspective shifts help me reset my thoughts and stay focused on what I’m building. Growth doesn’t mean you never feel fear — it means you’ve learned how to move through it with awareness and intention.
Abundance flows when belief is steady. When you trust yourself. When you take aligned action. When your inner world supports the life you’re trying to create.
That’s why I share these reflections — to remind you that it’s always possible to rebuild, pivot, learn something new, and grow at any stage of life.
Maybe your version of abundance is financial freedom. Maybe it’s a calmer home. Maybe it’s a new opportunity or a fresh start. Whatever it looks like, it’s within reach.
Start with your mornings. Start with one intentional choice. Start believing that your highest self already lives inside you — and you’re simply becoming her, day by day.
